The Role:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to join the existing HR team and to add real value to the business by supporting the HR Manager in facilitating HR strategy/plans, which satisfy organisational objectives.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Provide a HR advice to all Line Management in line with current employment legislation.
To provide a professional customer service to all employees.
Ensure that all employment policies/procedures and employee rights are adhered to including all levels of disciplinary procedures from counselling dismissal.
Monitor Policies and Procedures and make changes when appropriate.
Assist in all production recruitment activities ensuring that manning levels are fulfilled.
Responsible for the maintenance of all personnel and training files.
Absence Management recording, advising and reporting.
To work closely with Management Team to establish a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis and to develop, establish and assist the companys Training Plan and budget.
Organise training & development courses and ensure supporting documentation is in place and fully completed.
Provide a professional & confidential service offering advice and answering queries using the most appropriate method of communication.
Ensure all data collated, presented is accurate and relevant.
Carry out Induction in conjunction with other Departments and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and action in line with requirements.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
3- 5 years experience operating in a similar Human Resources role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Automotive.
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent PC/keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good planning & organisational skills, able to plan ahead, complete tasks on time and to the required standard.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to continuously improve the way they work and encourage others to continuously improve.
Must be professional & confidential in dealing with all employees, and have the ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and objectively.
Must have a professional telephone manner.
Must be able to work well as part of a Team, and take an active part in team working and achievement of objectives.
Confident dealing with individuals at all levels in the Organisation.
Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude to change and improvement.
